Oman: US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken arrived in Jordan on a trip to the Middle East to discuss the situation in Gaza and met with King Abdullah II.

According to Arab media, in this important meeting, the possibility of a cease-fire in Gaza and measures for permanent peace were discussed and the solution of this problem was emphasized as soon as possible.

King Abdullah of Jordan reiterated his position in the meeting that the lasting solution of Palestine is conditional on the establishment of two independent states. For which global forces have to play their role.

The King of Jordan told the US Secretary of State that the forced expulsion of Palestinians from Gaza is a clear violation of international law. Israel should be stopped and the delivery of humanitarian aid should be expedited.

On which US Secretary of State Anthony Blanken agreed to the need for maximum delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza through the Rafah crossing and assured that he would discuss the matter with Israel.

It should be noted that the US Secretary of State will meet with all parties in his visit and there is a possibility of agreeing on a new agreement for the ceasefire in Gaza.
