Mumbai: Cyclone has also wreaked havoc in India, the strong and high waves washed away five boys.

According to the Indian media report, a dozen coastal districts of Gujarat will be affected by stormy rains and winds due to Cyclone Bepar Joy, while issuing an alert at the ports of Gujarat, relief teams have been deployed in the coastal areas.

In the Arabian Sea, Cyclone Bepar Joy has started moving towards the coastal areas of Pakistan and India. Five boys were washed away by high waves at Mumbai’s Juhu Beach, rescue teams swung into action and rescued two, but one boy died, while the search for the other two is on.

According to the Indian media, the said storm is likely to hit the coastal areas of the Indian state of Gujarat and the Pakistani region of Keti Bandar on Thursday evening. According to the Indian Meteorological Department, the coastal districts of Kuch, Jamnagar, Morbi, Porbandar, Gir Somnath and Devbhumi Dwarka may be affected by the storm between June 13 and 15.

Winds blowing at a speed of 150 km per hour and heavy rain are also expected in the affected areas, more than 07 thousand people have been shifted to safe place from different districts of Gujarat state. According to the authorities, 21,000 boats were parked on the shore.
