RIYADH: Saudi Arabia to announce new warning system for severe weather The new warning system will be announced during a national workshop attended by officials and experts.

The national workshop will be attended by government agencies dealing with weather conditions.

The workshop will last for two days, and its agenda is to develop early warning systems and regional services and initiatives on modern lines.

During the workshop, global practices for communicating climate-related issues and threats will be highlighted and laws and legislations in various countries will also be discussed.
