The accused was identified as 27-year-old Ganesh, a close relative of the victim and a food delivery boy. He proposed marriage several times but the girl refused.

The girl got a deep injury on her neck and was immediately shifted to the hospital by the people present at the spot.

The accused fled from the spot, but the police managed to arrest him. The girl is undergoing treatment in the hospital and the police have recorded her statement and started investigating the matter.
