Silvio Barlesconi, the 2-time prime minister of Italy, died due to illness.

According to international media reports, tycoon-turned-politician and former Prime Minister of Italy Silvio Berlusconi died in Milan at the age of 86.

Silvio Barlesconi’s funeral will be held on Wednesday in Pisadomelan. Silvio Barlesconi died at 9:30 this morning at the Milan Central Hospital.

Berlusconi was brought to the cardiac unit of a Milan hospital where doctors transferred him to the intensive care ward after his condition worsened.

Berlusconi has been the prime minister of Italy 4 times and is a media tycoon.

Berlusconi, who made his fortune through his television channels before entering politics, underwent heart surgery in 2016 and also had prostate cancer.

He was repeatedly hospitalized in the last few years after contracting Covid-19 in the year 2020. Berlusconi last resigned as prime minister in 2011 as Italy neared a Greek-style debt crisis and was mired in scandals of his own.

He was returned to the Senate of the Italian Parliament after the general election in September and in January 2022, Berlusconi withdrew his name from consideration to become President of Italy.
