In the Indian state of Gujarat, storm Biparjoy has caused widespread damage, houses have been submerged, and normal life has been paralyzed.

According to the details, Biparjoy, a storm from Bahria Arab, has caused widespread destruction in the Indian state of Gujarat, the village of Mandvi was completely submerged by the storm, many houses were submerged due to which normal life was paralyzed.

Indian officials say the restoration work is ongoing, but so far more than a thousand villages are submerged in history.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, during the next 12 hours i.e. by 12 noon today (June 17), it will weaken further and turn into a depression.

The India Meteorological Department says rain will continue in some parts of Rajasthan till Monday, with the department issuing a ‘red’ alert for Jalore and Barmer, where more than 200 mm of rain is expected.

It may be noted that after circling the Arabian Sea for more than 10 days, Cyclone Baparjoy made landfall near Jakhao port in Gujarat on Thursday, wreaking havoc in some parts of the western coastal state of Saurashtra, killing 2 people and 23 were injured.
