According to media reports, a state of emergency has been imposed in Gujarat, more than 70 trains have been cancelled, all operations at the station have been suspended, while some areas have been completely evacuated.

According to the report, more than 47,000 people have been shifted to safe places by the government, army and other security agencies in order to minimize the damage from the storm.
