Ten people were killed and 38 injured in three mass shootings in Philadelphia, Baltimore and Fort Worth ahead of America’s Independence Day.
According to the Reuters news agency, police said on Tuesday that three people were killed and eight others were injured in a shooting during a festival in Fort Worth on the occasion of the 4th of July US Independence Day holiday.
According to local police, five people were killed and two were injured in a shooting incident in Philadelphia on Monday evening. Two and 13-year-old children are also among the injured. The suspect opened fire on people with an AR-15.
On Monday evening, two people were killed and 28 injured in a gunman’s indiscriminate shooting in Baltimore. Most of the injured were children.
The motive behind the shooting incident has not yet been determined.
America is struggling to deal with mass shootings.
According to the Gun Violence Archive, more than 340 shootings were reported in 2023.
The US president has condemned the shooting incidents and said that he will tighten the ‘gun policy’ of the US.

President Joe Biden has said in a statement that our nation has once again faced tragic events.
He called on Republican lawmakers to come and negotiate meaningful reforms.
Philadelphia officials have called on state and federal lawmakers to take steps to address the shootings.
Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney, a Democrat, held a press conference to plead with Congress to save lives and do something about the gun problem.
The city’s district attorney, Larry Kreisner, urged Philadelphia lawmakers to pass gun laws similar to those in New Jersey and Delaware.
He said that having legislation like these states can make some difference.
