A Pakistani woman who went to India after befriending an Indian citizen through the popular video game ‘PubG’ has been arrested.
According to the Press Trust of India (PTI), a Pakistani woman and her four children living illegally in the Indian city of Greater Noida have been arrested.
A Pakistani woman and her four children were staying illegally in Greater Noida, officials said on Monday. She was allegedly given shelter by a local man whom the Pakistani woman met through the online video game PUBG.
The police have also arrested the local man who sheltered the Pakistani woman.
Greater Noida Deputy Police Commissioner Saad Mia Khan said that ‘Pakistani woman and local man have been arrested. The woman’s four children are also with the police.
A Pakistani woman between the ages of 20 and 30 befriended an Indian man through the game of PubG.
The Deputy Commissioner says that ‘both the accused are being investigated now. The rest of the details will be revealed after the investigation.
According to a local police official, the woman allegedly entered the state of Uttar Pradesh with her children from Nepal and then reached Greater Noida by bus.
The official further said, ‘The woman and her children were staying in a rented house in Noida which belonged to this local person. The person lives in Rabopura area of ​​Greater Noida.’
