According to Pakistan’s National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Cyclone ‘Biper Joy’ is 300 kilometers away from Katy Bandar.
On Wednesday, NDMA said in a tweet that Biparjoy is located 300 km south west of Keti Bandar, 350 km south of Karachi and 360 km south of Thatta. After staying northward, the storm will move north-eastwards on June 15 afternoon and pass through the Indian state of Gujarat.
The NDMA has directed the people living in the coastal areas to follow the instructions given by the administration to stay safe from the possible effects of the cyclone.

According to the Indian newspaper Hindustan Times, the warning issued by the Meteorological Department said that the cyclone is likely to inundate the low-lying areas of Kuch, Devbhumi Dwarka, Porband, Jamnagar and Morbi.
Experts have warned that this storm can cause widespread destruction in Gujarat. Houses may be completely destroyed and the railway system is likely to be affected while standing crops may also be damaged.
Around 95 trains have been canceled or stopped for a short period till June 15 in the coastal areas of Gujarat.
According to NDTV, the cyclone will hit Gujarat’s Saurashtra and Kutch regions and adjoining Pakistan coast on Thursday.
Director of Ahmedabad IMD Manorma Mohanty says, ‘Thursday evening, the cyclone is likely to pass near Jakhau port between Mandvi area of ​​Kutch district and Karachi in Pakistan and during this time the wind speed is 125-135 kmph. It will be per hour.’
He said that ‘after the cyclone’s strength breaks, its movement is likely to remain towards the northeast and it may move towards south Rajasthan. Heavy rains are also likely in North Gujarat from June 15 to 17.
