In India marine A storm warning has been issued that could cause damage in seven states.
According to the newspaper Hindustan Times, the Meteorological Department says that the storm formed in the Arabian Sea has intensified on Saturday morning, which is also increasing.
According to the officials, ‘due to the storm called Biper Joy, there will be heavy rains in the southern regions of India, which may continue for four days.’
The Meteorological Department said that the cyclone is currently located 690 km west of Goa city and a warning has been issued for Maharashtra and nearby districts of Mumbai.
“During the next 48 hours, there will be rain in Mumbai and Maharashtra. The intensity of rain will be less in Mumbai, but there may be heavy rain in nearby districts.
A yellow alert has been issued for the state of Kerala, which means there will be thundershowers in various cities along with gusty winds.

According to the officials, the storm formed in the sea is accelerating the winds coming towards India, due to which the moisture in the air is increasing and the clouds are also coming.
Currently Kerala is experiencing intense heat so dusty winds are likely today followed by rain.
Tithal Beach, a popular tourist destination in Gujarat, has been closed till June 14 after the warning was issued.
TC Patel, Tehsildar of Valsad, Gujarat, told ANI, “We have also issued instructions to the fishermen not to try to go into the sea, while in case of emergency, people living near the sea should be evacuated immediately.” Preparations have also been made to move to other areas.

Similarly, the meteorological department has also prohibited fishermen from Kerala, Karnataka from going into the sea while those who are in the sea have also been recalled as an emergency.
Officials say that the impact of the cyclone will be visible in South Gujarat on Sunday or Monday, while the situation is normal.
Surat Collector BK Vasava told reporters that relief teams have also been prepared by the State Disaster Response Force to deal with any untoward situation.
Wind speed is expected to reach 45 to 55 knots due to the cyclone, but it can go up to 65 knots in some areas and this will continue from today till June 12.
