An Indian woman holds the Guinness World Record (in the women’s category) for most teeth in Batisi.

According to Guinness World Records, 26-year-old Kalpana Balan has 38 teeth, six more than the average number (32).

Kalpana Balan has four extra teeth in the lower jaw and two extra teeth in the upper jaw.

Kalpana’s extra teeth started erupting at a young age and she was planning to have them extracted at that time, but dentists advised her to wait for these teeth to fully erupt.

He said that he decided not to extract the teeth because they were not causing any pain.
