The construction of the world’s first underwater mosque has begun in Dubai.

According to Arab media, the first underwater mosque of its kind in the world will consist of three floors. The first floor of the mosque will be completely submerged, with a dedicated space for prayers. A conference hall will be established on the second floor, while an exhibition of Islamic arts and a Quran center will be established on the third floor.

According to reports, 50 to 75 people can pray in the underwater mosque and it will cost 55 million dirhams to build. The construction of the mosque will be completed by next year.
