Singapore: After seeing the Rs 2 lakh bill for the crab dish, the woman, angry with the restaurant management, called the police.

According to American media reports, a Japanese female tourist visiting Singapore with friends ordered a dish made from shrimp at a restaurant. After the meal, the woman was shocked to see the bill as the bill for one dish was 2 lakh Pakistani rupees ($680).

The angry woman called the police after seeing the bill for the crab dish so much higher than the normal one. The woman said that the restaurant staff had not properly informed about the price of the dish. The famous dish of the restaurant was ordered on the suggestion of the waiter.

The woman added that the waiter told her the shrimp was a dish that cost $20, but did not tell her that the restaurant charges per 100 grams of the dish. The dish was not even told about its weight before it was prepared which weighed around 3500 grams.

Restaurant Antamiya was of the opinion that we were not overcharged and reduced the bill by $78 as a gesture of goodwill.
