In the last part Bigg Boss OTT 3, Sai Ketan he emotionally reveals why he added ‘Rao’ to his surname. Through tears, she shares: “It’s just father zinda hai, hume chhod diya bachpan me” describes the painful abandonment of his father during his childhood.
Talking to Deepak Chaurasia, Sai says: “I started my journey in Hyderabad.” Deepak asks: “Does Rao say he is from Hyderabad?” Sai replies: “Rao ke liye bhi ek kahaani hai.Legally on paper, on license it is Sai Ketan Khadse.”
Deepak then asks if he is from Mumbai. Sai explains: “My father is from Maharashtra. My mother is Telugu. But my father was never with me in my life. He’s there, in the dungeon hello hai. Solve hume chhod diya. Bachpan me hi chhod diya…” She breaks down in tears while speaking. Deepak consoles her. He also says: “Just life to me kam hi log hai. Me, my mom, my sister and my best friend. Bahut guine chune log hai.”

Talking about how he started his acting journey, the actor said, “I started my acting journey in Hyderabad in 2016. I started after engineering. My mother said that if you want to be an actor, you have to study properly. I listened to him. Nobody is from the film industry. I come from middle class and our situation was very bad back then. Maine ek short film kia tha… hero ka bhai tha main. Mujhe Rs 100 mil. But then Covid happened. Aur is pure time for me to struggle with kafi tha. Hamari situation bahut hi kharab thi… maine sab kuch kho dia… paise kho he, opportunities kho he. A casting director said they needed an actor who could speak both languages. I gave the choice. I was told that 400-500 people auditioned for this role and only 7 were selected. I felt Mera toh yahan nahi hone wala hai. Some of these 7 names were very famous names in the television world. I did my best. A month later, I received a call saying that I had been chosen as the lead actor. “This was a very touching moment for me.”
