Zoom is expanding video conferencing services to include full-service office suite features. Recently, the company has added a new feature that allows users to create, share as well as edit text documents.

Notes will appear alongside the video calling where the chatbox is usually placed. People on the call will be able to make edits while the meeting is in progress, keeping the focus on the meeting instead of having to switch to another window for notes.

Zoom wants its users to create a document with the meeting agenda, edit it during the call and later share it with members.

Zoom has been trying to add new features to its platform since last year with email and calendar service, AI features and more. The company is keenly trying to keep up with competitors Google and Microsoft who have similar advanced video calling platforms.
