Threads has been working enthusiastically to compete with X, formerly Twitter, in bringing its users to Meta’s platform. Recently, Mark Zuckerberg announced that the social platform is about to get another new feature that will enable users to search for posts using keywords.

The Upcoming feature will pull up people with that username after typing in a keyword, while clicking Search will expand the search to all posts containing the keyword.

Instagram spokeswoman Christine Pai said the feature is being tested in Australia and New Zealand, with more countries to be added soon. “We are actively listening to community feedback and working on more features to improve the search experience,” says Pai.
