US space company NASA has said that according to the recent collected data, the chances of colliding with the land of 4 2024 have dropped from 1.6 to 1.5 percent.
In a blog post, NASA said it was expected that in the coming days and weeks, the new observations of the planet YR4 2024 would continue to rise.
The company added that to zero, the Earth will have to go beyond the range of potential target locations on December 22, 2032, to zero.
On February 15, NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory reported 1.6 percent likely to collide with a planet of 130 to 300 feet of diameter.
The space agency added that the company is constantly watching the planet to collect enough data so that Earth’s defense experts can determine the future threat.
