California: Technology giant Google has announced a massive upgrade to its Bard AI chatbot.

After the company’s upgrade, the free service will be integrated with some of Google’s major apps like YouTube, Gmail and Google Maps.

After connecting Chatbard with other apps, users will be able to access their email and other private documents from the chatbot. However, Google has clarified that no human will have access to this information.

Bard’s new extension will work with Gmail, Docs, Drive, Google Maps, YouTube and Google Flight and Hotels, and will bring together information across multiple apps and services.

For example, if someone is planning a trip somewhere, they can ask Bard for flight times and hotel information, look up directions to the airport on Google Maps, watch videos on YouTube, and more.

This initiative has been taken by Alphabet, the company that owns Google, in an attempt to match Chat GTP, which took the world by storm last year.

Accuracy in results is a major issue with all these super smart AI chatbots. But Google says there will be a button in Bard that will confirm the answer provided.

The company added that users will be able to share the chatbot conversation with their friends in the form of a link so that they too can be a part of the conversation.
