Lahore (Vopbuzz.com) Thousands of children are born every day around the world, more than 50 thousand children were born in 10 days in Lahore, the third largest city of Pakistan.

Statistics show that around 1,000 babies are born every four minutes worldwide. Faisalabad, located about 120 km from Lahore, the capital of Pakistan, is the most fertile city.

The report cites data from the Department of Local Government of Punjab. The report states that Faisalabad is at the top with 50 thousand 184 newborns, Lahore is second with 34 thousand 672 newborns and Rawalpindi is third with 9 thousand 362 babies. 18,111 people were born in Sargodha and 36,850 in Dera Ghazi Khan.

According to the report, 12 thousand 350 children were born in Gujranwala, 21 thousand 301 in Sahiwal, 13 thousand 402 in Gujarat, 43 thousand 822 in Multan and 22 thousand 905 in Bahawalpur.

The data collected under the birth registration campaign shows that 136 thousand 242 boys and 126 thousand 717 girls were born during this period.
