Shaheen Shah Afridi dismissed reports of his possible absence from the upcoming Test series against Sri Lanka by sharing a video on Twitter.

The footage shows Shaheen practicing with the red ball and expressing his eagerness to return to the longer format of the game.

In a tweet, Shaheen said that the red ball has a unique feel and significance in Test cricket.

A local media outlet had earlier said that Shaheen might miss the Test series against Sri Lanka in July due to his workload ahead of the upcoming ODI World Cup.

However, Shaheen’s video seems to negate the reports suggesting his intention to participate in Test matches.
