Shaheen Afridi will stay with the squad after being eliminated from the Asia Cup.
After the injury, fast bowler Shaheen Afridi from the Twenty20 Asia Cup ended with the national squad.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PB), Shaheen Afridi is going with the squad due to modernity.
According to PCB, Shaheen Afridi will also undergo a further check-up, in the light of the check-up, will be rehabilitated as per balance structure.
PCB says that it has been decided to keep Shaheen Afridi with the squad during the Asia Cup as well.
It should be noted that fast bowler Shaheen Afridi has been ruled out of the ACCT Twenty20 Asia Cup and the home series against England due to a knee injury. He is currently with the team in the Netherlands.
The PCB Medical Advisory Committee and independent specialists have recommended rest for the cricketer in the light of the latest scans and reports, he has been asked to rest for four to six weeks.
Shaheen Afridi is likely to return to cricket for the T20 tri-series in New Zealand in October.
It should be noted that the Asia Cup T20 tournament will be played in United Arab Emirates from August 27 to September 11, hosted by Sri Lanka.

پاکستان کرکٹ بورڈ (پی بی) کے مطابق شاہین آفریدی جدیدیت کی وجہ سے اسکواڈ کے ساتھ جا رہے ہیں۔
پی سی بی کے مطابق شاہین آفریدی کا مزید چیک اپ بھی ہوگا، چیک اپ کی روشنی میں بیلنس اسٹرکچر کے مطابق بحالی کی جائے گی۔
پی سی بی کا کہنا ہے کہ شاہین آفریدی کو ایشیا کپ کے دوران بھی اسکواڈ کے ساتھ رکھنے کا فیصلہ کیا گیا ہے۔
واضح رہے کہ فاسٹ باؤلر شاہین آفریدی گھٹنے کی انجری کے باعث اے سی سی ٹی ٹوئنٹی 20 ایشیا کپ اور انگلینڈ کے خلاف ہوم سیریز سے باہر ہو چکے ہیں۔ وہ اس وقت ہالینڈ میں ٹیم کے ساتھ ہیں۔
پی سی بی کی میڈیکل ایڈوائزری کمیٹی اور آزاد ماہرین نے تازہ ترین اسکینز اور رپورٹس کی روشنی میں کرکٹر کو آرام کی سفارش کی ہے، انہیں چار سے چھ ہفتے آرام کرنے کا کہا گیا ہے۔
شاہین آفریدی کی اکتوبر میں نیوزی لینڈ میں ہونے والی سہ ملکی ٹی ٹوئنٹی سیریز کے لیے کرکٹ میں واپسی کا امکان ہے۔
واضح رہے کہ ایشیا کپ ٹی ٹوئنٹی ٹورنامنٹ 27 اگست سے 11 ستمبر تک متحدہ عرب امارات میں کھیلا جائے گا جس کی میزبانی سری لنکا کرے گی۔
