Former head coach Ravi Shastri criticized the worst performance of the Indian team in the final of the World Test Championship against Australia.

According to Indian media reports, former head coach Ravi Shastri said that Indian players have to decide whether they want to play franchise cricket or play for the country.

He said that all the players of the Indian team should tell their preferences if their priority is franchise cricket then forget the World Test Championship.

Ravi Shastri said that BCCI has to come forward on the issue of franchise cricket.

The former head coach said that the BCCI should include a clause in the contract that they can stop the players from franchise cricket at any time.

Ravi Shastri also said that after putting the clause in the contract, the franchise should be asked how much investment they want to make on any player.

It should be noted that Australia defeated India by 209 runs in the final of the ICC World Test Championship.

On the last day of the final of the Test Championship played at the Oval Ground in London, the Indian team was bowled out for 234 runs in pursuit of a target of 444 runs.
