The national Test squad for the two-Test series against Sri Lanka is likely to be announced tomorrow.

According to ARY News, Shaheen Shah Afridi is likely to return to Test cricket after a year in the Pakistan Sri Lanka Test series.

All-rounders Aamir Jamal and Mohammad Hurira can be included in the squad while Kamran Ghulam, Wasim Jr and Zahid Mehmood can be dropped.

According to sources, wicketkeeper Sarfaraz Ahmed and fast bowler Hasan Ali will remain in the national team for the Test series.

It should be noted that the national team will play a series of two Test matches against Sri Lanka in July, which is part of the World Test Championship.

The Test series between Pakistan and Sri Lanka is likely to start from Sunday, July 16. The Test series will be part of the ICC Test Championship.

Test series matches are likely to be held in Colombo and Galle.

The Sri Lanka Cricket Board will announce the final schedule of the series in the next few days, with the first Test likely to be played from July 16 to 20 and the second Test from July 24 to 28.
