According to ARY News, ICC has announced the third Test Championship cycle in which all the teams including Pakistan will play 6, six mutual series, in which three series will be home and three away.

Pakistan will play a total of 14 Test matches in this cycle. The Shaheens are scheduled to host England, West Indies and Bangladesh while visiting Sri Lanka, Australia and South Africa in their home country.

Shaheen will begin their campaign to reach the final of the third Test Championship with a two-Test series in Sri Lanka next month. After that, Pakistan also has to go to South Africa and if important points are to be gained, then they have to beat Australia in Australia in December and January.

The national team’s two home series against West Indies and Bangladesh are a bit easier but defeating England could prove to be a big test for Pakistan.

The final of the third Test Championship is two years away but every team is already starting to build towards it and the first challenge for Pakistan is the tour of Sri Lanka next month.
