Islamabad: The federal government has decided to conduct a special audit of the Najam Sethi era on alleged irregularities in the Pakistan Cricket Board.

According to the details, the federal government has decided to conduct a special audit of the tenure of the PCB Management Committee on the issue of alleged irregularities in the Pakistan Cricket Board.

In this regard, a letter has been written to the Auditor General of Pakistan to conduct an audit of Najam Sethi’s tenure, in which it has been asked that a complete audit of the expenses incurred during Najam Sethi’s tenure should be conducted.

The letter said that the Auditor General should conduct an audit from December 22, 2022 to June 20, 2023 without delay, while the audit authorities will also review the privileges of the temporary management committee members including Najam Sethi.

The federal government had received several complaints about the unnecessary expenses of the management committee, after which the federal government had formed a temporary management committee in December 2022.
