Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohshinnakvi met with top-performing domestic cricketers on Sunday and issued an immediate order to resolve concerns regarding fitness, skill development and dietary management.

The meeting followed Pakistan’s early exit from the ICC Champions Trophy and became the first team despite being the tournament’s host.

The discussion took place at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore. There, young cricketers raised important issues related to high performance training, particularly fitness management and diet planning challenges.

In response, NAQVI has assured PCB’s commitment to player development, granting access to all cricket academies across the country, and instructing staff to introduce professional diet plans aimed at improving physical fitness and field performance.

Naqvi also highlighted the need for experienced trainers to oversee conditioning for emerging players. Encouraging the young cricketer, he said, “You are the future star of Pakistan. Providing the necessary resources is an investment in a bright future for Pakistan cricket.”

Media reports suggest that some of these domestic performers may be considered on Pakistan’s upcoming tour of New Zealand.

The tour includes five T20Is and three ODIs scheduled for March 16th to April 5th, with the team set to depart on March 12th.

Promising cricketers were present including Muhammad Ali, Ali Raza, Ahmed Daniyal, Nisar Ahmed, Mohammad Ithisam, Mohammad Salman, Afaq Afridi, Abdul Samad, Third Massoud, Hawaja Nafai, Muaz Sadhaka, Arafat Minhas, Mubasah Has, Hahahas, Hawaja Nafai, Third Massoud, Mubasah Samas, Hawaja Nafai, Mubasah Has, and Hawaja Nafai.
