Differences between the government coalition parties PML-N and People’s Party have come to the fore on the appointment of Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board.

According to ARY News, differences have come to the fore between the coalition parties of the government, the PML-G and the People’s Party, over the appointment of the Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board.

A series of meetings are going on before the election of the Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board. Chairman of PCB Management Committee Najam Sethi met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif in the past few days, in which the Prime Minister instructed him to complete the election of the Chairman soon and also nominated the candidate by patting him on the back.

The twist on this issue came when the coalition People’s Party came up against the PML-N.

Inter-Provincial Communication Minister Ehsan Mazari says that the Ministry of Sports is with the PP and the Chairman PCB will be the one nominated by the PP leadership.

It should be noted that after the PTI government, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif removed PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja from his position in December last year and appointed Najam Sethi as the head of the PCB Management Committee for four months. Cricket and PCB were tasked with revitalizing the 2014 constitution. Later, the committee was given an extension of two months, which ends on June 20.

It is to be seen that the camel of the election of PCB chairman will sit in the crotch and whose nominated candidate will occupy the most powerful chair of Pakistan cricket.
