After breaking Hashim Amla’s record of becoming the fastest to reach 5000 ODI runs, Babar Azam once again went past the South African great and also became the fastest batsman to complete 19 ODI hundreds on Wednesday.

The Pakistan captain achieved the feat during the opening match of the Asia Cup against Nepal in Multan.

While Amla took 104 innings to score 19 ODI hundreds, the Pakistani captain completed 19 ODI hundreds in 102 innings.

Babar has now reached the top spot in the list of fastest batsmen to score 19 ODI centuries, followed by Hashim Amla (104), Virat Kohli (124), David Warner (139) and AB de Villiers (171).
