Australia won the final of World Test Championship 2023 but both teams were fined heavily for slow over rate while Indian players will not get match fee.

According to foreign media, the final of the World Test Championship 2023 ended yesterday with Australia ruling, but after the match, the ICC has imposed heavy fines on both teams for the slow over rate.

India has been fined 100% of the match fee while Australia has been fined 80% as India bowled 5 overs while Australia bowled 4 overs during the match.

According to the decision of ICC, no Indian player will get match fee.
Apart from this, Indian opener Shubman Gill has been fined 15% of the match fee separately. He criticized the umpire’s decision after being dismissed.

Shubman Gill has been found guilty of breaching ICC Article 2.4, and has been fined 15% of his match fee.
