Floods in Balochistan destroyed the house of ‘Kana Yaari’ fame Wahab Ali Bugti.

 

Heavy rains and floods in Balochistan have badly affected the way of life, killing hundreds of people and destroying thousands of houses.

Among these thousands was the home of Wahab Ali Bugti – the singer who rose to fame after the Coke Studio song “Kana Yaari”. They have been living under the clear sky for many days in Naseerabad area of ​​Balochistan.

Speaking to Geo Digital, the singer said that he has been living in Naseerabad since 1998 and his house was made of mud, which has now been destroyed.
“Two days ago, my house was swept away by the flood. I was living with my eight children under the blue sky without a roof,” Bugti said.

Fortunately, yesterday afternoon, his friend gave him a place to stay. Wahab lamented that not only his house was destroyed but also his rice crops were destroyed in the flood.
Did Coke Studio or the government help?

Bugti further said that military personnel are extracting water in their area, but due to the rains, their system has also been shut down and the communication link has been cut.

Apart from this, the government has not yet contacted them.

Bugti said he informed music producer Abdul Jabbar Khan (aka Zulfi) about the seriousness of the situation, after which he posted the matter on social media.

“After that, some money started coming into my account,” he said, praising the people at the Coke studio.
Celebrities, politicians appealed for Bugatti’s help.

Bugti’s co-singer in the popular Coke Studio song, Kafi Khalil, posted a story on his Instagram asking for help and donations for his co-star.

“[Donate] as much as you can. Please help him if you live near him or are in touch with him,” Khel wrote on his Instagram, adding: “Wahhab bhai so much for you. All the prayers.”

The singer also provided Bugatti’s bank account details so that people can give him funds directly.
Dawn Images reported that Khalil has confirmed the photos and has also spoken to Bugti. The singer is currently staying at his friend’s house.

Motivational speaker Muniba Mazari described the development as heartbreaking.
And like them, Bugti said, thousands of Baloch people are facing hardships and looking to “Pakistani brothers and sisters for help.”

Music producer Zulfi said in a tweet that he was and will continue to be with Bugti and his loved ones to overcome the difficult situation.
“Rest assured, they are being given all possible support on the ground,” he added.

In light of the disaster, the provincial government announced the closure of schools in Balochistan on Monday. The total number of deaths in Balochistan has reached 225.

The education department of Balochistan has said that all public and private educational institutions will remain closed from August 22 (today) to August 27.
