Sarah Ferguson The initial form of breast cancer has been diagnosed.

A representative for the 63-year-old Duchess of York told sky News On Sunday, June 25, Ferguson was diagnosed after a recent routine mammogram screening.

“He was advised that he needed to undergo surgery, which was successfully done,” the spokesperson said. “The Duchess is receiving the best of medical care and her doctors have told her that the prognosis is good. She is now recuperating with her family. The Duchess would like to express her immense gratitude to all the medical staff who have supported her in recent days.

Ferguson’s rep said the England native is “very grateful” to the medical professionals who diagnosed her condition, noting that she is “otherwise symptom-free.”
