Indian celebrity Rakhi Sawant has been creating quite a stir on social media lately as she shares her spiritual journey to Mecca and Madina on social media. As per his latest update, he has successfully completed the Islamic pilgrimage Umrah along with his brother Wahid Ali Khan and his wife Shaista Ali Khan.

Rakhi first broke the news of her religious venture a few days ago on her Instagram profile with a video in which she could be seen wearing a hijab and modest clothes as she announced the fact that she has been called to the house of God. . In the video, he expressed his happiness at the prospect of going to Umrah, saying that he is very fortunate to have this opportunity.

She also said that she will pray for all and requested people to pray for her. While some praised him for having accomplished this important rite of passage of being a Muslim, many criticized him in light of his past and questioned his faith. The controversial public figure converted to Islam in 2022 after marrying her now-estranged husband Adil Khan Durrani. She also reportedly adopted the Islamic name Fatima for herself, but her usernames on social media remain unchanged.

After posting a video of her flight en route to Saudi Arabia, Rakhi has posted a few more videos and pictures from her trip to the holy cities. One of the first posts she posted from there was a reel of her in Madinah, in which she was seen touching and hugging one of the many gates of the Holy Prophet’s (PBUH) mosque.

Another video shows him and his companions doing Tawaf around the Kaaba. His announcement that he has completed Umrah came through a picture in which Rakhi, his brother and his sister-in-law can be seen standing in front of the holy Kaaba.
