Indian sitcom TV actress Monika Bhadauria aka Bawri ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma’ The possible reason behind Disha Vakani’s exit has been revealed.

Disha Vakani, who played the lead role of Dayaben ‘TMKOC’He joined the cast at the start of the show in 2008 and stayed for a long time. In 2017, she took a maternity leave from the long-running sitcom and never returned.

In a recent interview, Bhadauria, who himself cited misbehavior, harassment and pay issues on the sets as reasons for leaving the show in 2019, said that similar issues could also be the reason for Vakani’s exit .

When asked if the lead cast including Vakani has also received similar treatment in the show, Bhadauria replied, “I don’t want to comment on that. Perhaps. Must have felt something bad (Must be something).”

He continued to explain,Someone is paying you well and calling you again and again, if you do not want to come, then this will be the reason, what else can happen? (If someone calls you again and again and also offers good money and you still don’t want to return…and why would anyone do that)?”

It is pertinent to mention that apart from Vakani and Bhadauria, several others from the ensemble cast including narrator Shailesh Lodha and Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal (Mrs Sodhi) have also left the show in recent years.
