Muhammad Junaid Safdar, son of PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz Sharif and grandson of supremo Nawaz Sharif, has announced divorce from Ayesha Saif after three years of marriage.
Junaid confirmed the news of his separation from his ex-wife on Instagram. Confirming that the rumors were true, Junaid wrote in his Instagram story, ‘The news of my divorce is true.’ He further said, “This is a completely personal matter and I request the media to respect our privacy.”
Furthermore, Junaid wrote, “I hope we get our people back with this decision, Insha Allah. I will not speak further on this matter. I wish them all the best.” [Ayesha] Well.”
The couple tied the knot in August 2021 in a lavish ceremony, which was also attended by the former Prime Minister. The Nikah was followed by a grand wedding celebration in Islamabad in December of the same year.
