Pakistan’s darling Mahira Khan has married her boyfriend Salim Karim. Videos of the Raees star’s big day went viral on social media. Khan’s manager Anushay Talha Khan shared the star’s first look on Instagram as she walked down the aisle.
Wearing a pastel lehenga choli with an elaborate veil, Khan can be seen walking towards Karim. In another video shared by his brother Hisaan Khan, we see the first glimpse of the groom. Karim chose a black sherwani and matching pajama with an icy blue turban.
Once Khan reaches her husband, Karim embraces him and places a gentle kiss on his head amid the applause of the wedding attendees. The award-winning star had earlier confirmed her dating with Karim in an exclusive interview with veteran star Samina Peerzada.
Last year, when the veteran actor had asked if Khan was in love with someone special, the Raees star had smiled and nodded. “Yeah, I think I’m in love,” the Raees star said, smiling. When Sameena moved forward to congratulate him, the Sadke Tumhare actor said, “I don’t know, I’m very shy about it.”
Sameena then asked if she would know who Khan was attracted to, to which the former VJ insisted, “You would know but he is not from the industry.”
Sameena then asked the Verna star if she would like to reveal the name of the person, and she shared that she would not like to do so. The Bol actor said, “This is something I want to protect all my life. I want to protect my child.” He continued, “At first, I wanted to show everyone what a cute baby Azlan is, but now I’ve been more careful. If you pay attention, you can’t actually see Azlan’s face in full view, it’s or So there will be a side pose or a back pose.”
Sameena reassures him that he has every right in the world to do so. The actor shared, “I know we shouldn’t be so superstitious and I was not the person you would call superstitious, but now I am like I don’t want any nazar (evil eye).”
