Scottish Hollywood star Ewan McGregor and Swedish-born Alicia Vikander will be honored at this year’s Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
‘Star Wars’ Actor McGregor and Swedish Oscar-winning actor Vikander will be guests at the 57th edition of the international film festival to be held in the Czech Republic later this month.

Both actors will receive the President’s Award at the Karlovy Vary Film Festival in their presence at the opening ceremony on June 30, organizers announced Tuesday morning.
Welcoming McGregor as the guest of the festival, the organizers of KVIFF tweeted, “SThe Scottish actor, director and producer will receive the Festival President’s Award and present his new film U sing louder i sing louderIn which he is seen with his daughter.

His real-life daughter, Clara McGregor, will also be a guest at the opening ceremony.
“Oscar-winning Swedish actress and producer Alicia Vikander will be the guest of honor at the opening ceremony of the 57th Karlovy Vary International Film Festival, where she will be presented with the KVIFF President’s Award,” he tweeted minutes later.
