Dua Lipa releases her new single Houdini Celebrated the launch with a secret fan event in London on Thursday. The track is the first single from the British-Albanian singer’s third studio album, set for release in 2024.

It follows his hit barbie soundtrack song dance the night awayWhich came out in May. HoudiniNamed after famous illusionist and escape artist Harry Houdini, it is produced by Danny L. Harley and Kevin Parker of Tame Impala.

“I’m hosting three surprise launch events for Houdini in London, Los Angeles and Tokyo. The first will be this Thursday in my hometown of London. I’m going to invite some of my fans from the UK and across Europe, so Keep your eyes open,” the 28-year-old said in a social media post on Monday.

Lucky fans enjoyed an early screening of the single’s music video and an onstage appearance by Lipa at the English National Ballet in London.

Lipa’s last studio album, 2020 nostalgia for the future, was an international chart-topper and received the Best Pop Vocal Album Grammy and the British Album of the Year Brit Award, among many other accolades. Previous singles released by Lipa include hit songs new rules, a kiss, fly And Don’t start yet.
