Indian actor-comedian Tirthananda Rao ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ Fame attempted suicide during a live session on Facebook.

According to reports, Tirthanand Rao, who mimicked film actor Nana Patekar as a junior in the Kapil Sharma-led show, attempted suicide a few days back while going live on the social platform Facebook.

After a heated argument with his partner, whom he accused of ‘blackmailing’ and ‘extortion’, Rao consumed phenyl in front of the camera.

As per details, the actor is back home and is fine now.

“I live with my partner in Mira Road, after the incident where I attempted suicide, I was taken to the hospital but now I am home and I am fine,” he shared after returning home.

It is pertinent to mention that Rao had attempted suicide earlier also during the Covid-19 lockdown, following extreme financial crisis.

On the work front, Rao worked with Sharma in 2016 and was also a part of ‘Comedy Circus Wonders’, She was later offered a role following the actor’s fallout with partner Sunil Grover, but had to turn down the opportunity due to her commitment to a Gujarati film.
