Karachi:
On Tuesday night, we saw South Asia’s biggest bands gather 13 years later. The Karachians were treated to Junon’s reunion after much speculation about whether fans could see the Pakistani rock legend performing again.
And it was just as classic night as my favorite night of memories. Continuing in the same spirit, guitarist Salman Ahmed became emotional on stage, reminiscing about his final conversation with the late musician Junaid Jamshed.
Ahmed revealed that the vital signs that the frontman called him on the night before his trip to Chitral had spoken for two hours. “He talked about everything under the sun and just kept talking,” he recalled. The guitarist was moved and surprised at what JJ said. “I was like, ‘You’re just going to Chitral,’ but he continued. ”
At that time, JJ told Ahmad that he really wanted Junoon to be reunited. “He said, ‘Salman, I really hope you and Ali come back together,’ the musician told an already sentimental audience.
Throughout the concert, Ahmad claimed that Juntu Reunion on Tuesday was held for Pakistan and Junaid Jamshed for fans of bands around the world (called “Junonis”). To everyone’s surprise, the band’s loud and proud lead singer Ali Azmat, unlike him, acted pretty well on stage.
Take care, it wasn’t easy to bring Jung back together. The efforts to reunite the band have been going well for at least the past few years, so it’s interesting to see how many people have failed before this week’s concert. The first major player to bring Ahmad and Azmat together was Coca Cola.
In season 10, Coca-Cola producers and brand and marketing teams were able to convince both Ahmad and Azmat to feature in an anniversary episode. Cola Studio. This was intended to commemorate the prolific music platform for a decade and reunite Jung, but apparently not happened due to the two creative differences. The former is rumoured that Ahmad did not want to sing and leave. This sounds like crazy fan theory, except that multiple industry insiders have seen a bit of “creative difference.”
Other theories of reunions that didn’t happen revolve around budgetary issues, but that really makes no sense given that the brand “persuaded” them to reunite.
The second brand that followed junoon was Pepsi. Season 2 reunion The Battle of Pepsi in the Band When it was revealed that Azmat was already doing, it was almost finished Coke Studio 11.
SOOPER then reunited Junoon and entitled the video from August 14th Kudi. The video received serious criticism for being too basic, but it was a teaser for a series of live concerts that should have happened now.
Anyway, on Tuesday night, the audience proved that they still love Jung-on, even though they didn’t sound as tight and epic as they were in their prime. I’m looking forward to a new Junon album soon.
