BEIRUT: The discovery of a newborn baby girl in a black plastic garbage bag that was being carried by a stray dog ​​near the municipality building in Tripoli on Wednesday morning sent shockwaves across Lebanon. A passerby reportedly saw the dog carrying the bag and heard a child’s scream. He manages to take the bag from the dog and finds the baby inside. The girl, who had bruises all over her body, was taken to the Islamic Charitable Hospital, and then transferred to the Tripoli Governmental Hospital after informing the security services and judicial authorities.
