A passenger plane crashed in Sudan’s capital Khartoum on Sunday evening due to a technical problem.
According to news agency AFP, nine people, including four soldiers, have been killed in the plane crash.
Sudanese military sources have said that the ongoing war between the warring groups in the East African country of Sudan has completed 100 days.
Due to the internecine fighting, millions of people have been trapped in their homes and many areas have no drinking water.
In the outskirts of Khartoum, local people appear to be asking for food donations to save lives.
Abbas Muhammad Babikar, a resident of the war-torn city, said that his family can afford only one meal a day, and now even that is looking difficult.
A charity group in Khartoum has made an urgent appeal for donations to help families like Abbas.
Babkir, who lives in the north of Khartoum, said that we only have two days of ration left.
According to locals, a man who was a local musician has lost his life due to hunger.

According to the United Nations World Food Program Agency, about a third of Sudan’s population was suffering from hunger before the war.
The agency says that despite security challenges, emergency food deliveries to 1.4 million people have been made possible as the situation continues to worsen.
Essam Abbas, a resident of the north of Khartoum, says that the markets are closed because of the fighting and we have no money left anyway.
A local committee supporting democracy has appealed for emergency aid to the beleaguered people.
Through social media, the committee has appealed that we have to arrange food and money for the forced people.
A citizen has written on social media that his friend violinist Khalid Sunhori has died due to hunger.
