The Department of Manpower under the Dubai Government has said that all government institutions will remain closed on the new Hijri year 1445 AH.

According to the official news agency of the United Arab Emirates, WAM, the new Hijri year will be on Friday, July 21, 2023.

The Department of Manpower has invited the Dubai Government, UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed, Vice President Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan and members of the UAE Supreme Council, Emirati people and expatriates living in the emirate. I have congratulated the year of Hijri and prayed that Allah may bring this day again and again in the life of the Muslim Ummah.
