The Ministry of Manpower and Emiratisation has said that ‘from next Saturday, the collection of fines will be started from companies violating the goals of Emiratisation’.
According to Emirates Today, the Ministry of Manpower and Emiratization said in a statement that private companies with 50 or more employees were given a deadline of July 7 to meet the Emiratization targets.
This respite was given for the Eid-ul-Adha holidays and to provide adequate opportunity to the companies.
According to the program, the Ministry will start the operation from Saturday, July 8.
Private companies have been asked to achieve a one percent growth rate with respect to the semi-annual targets of Emiratisation, and any company that does not adhere to it will be fined 42,000 dirhams per local citizen.
The ministry has released a video on social media outlining the goals of Emiratisation.
The companies have been informed in this regard and there are also details of the penalty in case of violation.
