UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has met Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian who is on a visit to the Gulf countries today.
According to the UAE’s official news agency WAM, in the meeting held in Dubai on Thursday, the two leaders discussed mutual relations and cooperation and their further expansion.
He also considered the regional and international issues, while the development measures for the welfare of the people of the region were also important for the stability and prosperity of the region.
Sheikh Mohammad Bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his good wishes for the Iranian President and hoped that he would take more developmental steps for Iran and its people.

Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdullahian has previously met with the authorities there during his visits to Qatar and Oman, while he is expected to hold talks with the leadership of Kuwait after his stay in the UAE.
On Wednesday, Iran’s top diplomat met Oman’s Minister of Royal Office Mohammad Sultan bin Mohammad Al Numani and discussed the relations between the two countries and cooperation in various fields.
Abdullahiyan also met with his Omani counterpart, Sayyed Badr Al Busaidi, in which discussions were held regarding the visit of Sultan Haytham bin Tariq to Iran.
