Jamshid Shermehd, a dual citizen of Germany and Iran who has been sentenced to death in Tehran, has been accused by his daughter of eight Iranian officials of ‘crimes against humanity’.
According to the AFP news agency, the complaint filed in the Federal Court in Karlsruhe, Germany, accused eight senior officials of the Iranian judiciary and intelligence operatives of illegally detaining Jamshid Shermad, torturing him and not giving him a fair trial. Is.

Human rights groups ECCHR Wolfgang Kalick, the head of the IDF, who has filed this complaint along with Ghazal Shermad, says, “We hope that by filing the complaint, there will be a judicial inquiry into the detention of Jamshed Shermad.”
Based in Karlsruhe, Germany, the court hears crimes such as war crimes and genocide on an international scale, regardless of whether they are committed in another country.

Earlier, Jamshed Shermahd, a dual citizen, was sentenced to death in February 2023, which was later upheld by Iran’s Supreme Court in April.
