The International Parliamentary Conference on Interfaith began in Morocco on Wednesday. Titled ‘Together for a Common Future’.
According to the official news agency SPA, the Saudi delegation is headed by Majlis Shura President Dr. Abdullah Al-Sheikh.
In his message to the participants of the conference, the King of Morocco, King Mohammed VI, said that through interfaith dialogue, strengthening the roots of positive and peaceful coexistence, and understanding and cooperation for the sake of humanity, humans have been freed from trials, conflicts and sufferings. can go’.
The message of the Moroccan ruler was read out by the Speaker of the Moroccan Parliament, Rashid Al-Talibi Elami.
The participants of the conference discussed the topics of cooperation in promoting peace and security, creating a state based on law and justice, building a common future, equality between men and women and participation of youth in the process of construction and development. .
The objective of the Parliamentary Conference on Religions is to explore the possibilities of joint efforts to create a more peaceful society, to initiate meaningful dialogue for a common strategy to overcome the obstacles to sustainable coexistence.
The delegation of the Saudi Shura Council includes the members Shura Nasir bin Muhammad al-Daghithar, Princess Dr. Al-Jawhra bint Fahd, Mubarak al-Dosari and Dr. Zainab Abu Talib.
