According to Emirates News Agency, the gold markets of Dubai and Sharjah recorded a decrease this weekend compared to the previous weekend.
The price of 24 karat gold per gram decreased by two and a half dirhams to reach 237.25 dirhams, while the price of 22 karat gold decreased by 2 dirhams to 220 dirhams per gram.
The price of 21 karat gold per gram has decreased by two and a half dirhams to 213 dirhams, while the price of 18 karat gold has decreased by 2 dirhams to 182.5 dirhams per gram.
The manager of a jewelery showroom said that ‘the demand for gold jewelery has improved in the gold market in the past few days’.
‘People have started buying when prices are low. The demand for jewelery is expected to increase in the coming days.
