Young Thug announced his first live performance since his release from prison following a plea bargain.
The rapper is set to headline the Real Dentes Festival in Belgium on July 5th, marking his first show since his arrest in 2022. Fans are eager to anticipate a return to the stage, but Thug has yet to make public comments about the announcement and demands that four charity gigs be performed a year, but the US concerts are still in the process. I am not planning to do so.
Thug’s silence could be due to ongoing legal issues. He is involved in a lawsuit with Anschutz Entertainment Group (AEG), a leading music company that claims Thug signed a $5.25 million loan agreement in 2017. After failing to pay off the loan, AEG claims Thug was confiscated by his publication, and live performance promotion.
AEG previously sued him for breach of contract in 2022, saying that despite AEG retaining exclusive rights to his performance, he booked concerts independently and maintained all revenue. I criticized it.
The rapper is also fighting the government over property seized during raids at home, including cash, gems, and several luxury cars, such as the 2022 Porsche 911 and the 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLS Maybach.
The outcome of the lawsuit remains uncertain, but Thug’s upcoming Belgian shows will be a significant milestone when they return to live performances.
