Niels Vrakking, known online as “Theeuropeanlad,” disabled his X (formerly Twitter) account after being docked with a virus post.
It started when Vrakking laughed at Erling Haaland and referenced Mikel Arteta’s “Stay Humble” comment, followed by Real Madrid’s removal of Manchester City from the Champions League, and Vrakking laughed at Erling Haaland.

In retaliation, an X user named MOPP, who identified as Nigerian, is publicly sharing Vrakking’s personal information. This post included Vrakking’s real name (Niels Vrakking) along with his age, location and family name. The doc quickly went viral and caused anger, especially as it contained personal information about his family.
Before deactivating the account, Vrakking had more than 1 million followers on X. He later posted on Instagram and explained that the experience had a serious impact on his mental health. “I went through something I didn’t want anyone… my mental health reached an all-time low until it felt almost irreparable,” Vrakking shared.
Vrakking has revealed that he will not return to X or any other platforms and will ask for privacy from his followers. Vrakking reiterated that his online presence was driven by his love for football, not by his financial interests.
Some Haaland and Manchester City fans have celebrated Vrakking’s departure, while many others have denounced Doxing, calling it an immoral act that goes far beyond disagreement over football’s opinion. I’m here. They particularly criticized Vrakking as well as his innocent family targeting, highlighting the dangerous and unethical nature of such behavior.
